An Onshore bank account is a corporate bank account that is formed within the jurisdication of the United States. Whilst we are able to offer a formal introduction and assist in preparing the necessary paperwork, opening the account will require that you attend in person to finalise the process.

Offshore Bank Accounts

An Offshore bank account is a corporate bank account that is formed outside of the United States within a recognised international jurisdiction. One of the advantages is that all of the necessary forms can be completed and returned without the need for you to attend.

Types of Account

Generally, banks within the United States will require you to have first and successfully run one of the standard 'Checking' type current accounts before offering you services specifically tailored to suit your business. This type of account provides:

• Internet access to your account
• A Cheque book
• Traditional current account type facilities

Requirements for Opening A Corporate Bank Account

In order to open an account, your American company must have original copies of:

• a Certificate of Good Standing
• your Apostille Cerrtificate
• in some instances your Operating Agreement
• a copy of your current Filing Receipt

Prior to opening the account, the banks will carry out checks to ensure that your company is a suitable entity with which to do business with.

Aside from these corporate requirements, there are a number requirements which you will need to submit in making your application to the bank, these typically include providing identification.
